KUDOS to 2007 Haunting History Volunteers & Sponsors!! |

Over 30 volunteers made this Haunting History our best to date. Shirley Berardo Coordinator of Event; called volunteers, organized the data on event, promoted to radio, newspapers, got flyers and sought other donations for event, sent out thank-yous to donators.
Bill Larson Took care of everything that went on in the cave: tending to actors, picking up their food, training the guides, setting up props and taking down. Spent both nights supervising things in the cave, helping when needed. Also got donations of actor’s food for two nights, donation of 100 glow sticks and at least 10 pumpkins for event. He let us use his two-way radios, help set up and take down props in cave. Creator of Clarksvilleonline.com, which promoted the event.
Debbie Boen Wrote the skits, arranged for director Ellie Ellis from the Roxy Regional Theatre to find actors and rehearse them. Made the props and got them to actors and then to the cave, got a donation of carpet for the slippery ground at stage 1. Took pictures for the media. Set up cave with props; stored them. Promoted event at Park, found more volunteers when needed. Sent out thank-you cards to volunteers. Provided buttons for FODC sales.
Jack and Suva Bastin Put up/took down Tiki Torches; brought all supplies to make hot chocolate and hot apple cider and served them both nights. David Boen Put stage lights with their batteries at the “stages” in the cave. Took out and recharged batteries first night, pulled all from cave at the end. On Saturday coordinated the waiting-to-go-on-tour public with volunteer guides.
Roxy Regional Theatre owners John McDonald and Tom Thayer recommended Stage Director Ellie Ellis to direct the skits and she did a wonderful job. As did the actors: Ally Campbell, Daynnah Carmona, Hannah Carmona, Della Coleman, Elizabeth Coleman, Aaron Juvera, Hannah Kitterman, Kari Muller, Joanna Patmore and Angela Scott

Thanks to Park Manager Robert Wells, Ranger Adam Neblett & Interpretive Specialist Amy Wallace for ensuring safety and security of event, safety and security of park. Amy Wallace cut the pumpkins and put in cave along with ghosts to light the path. Gave cut pumpkins to actors. She worked with Bill Larson to train the guides when they needed to do a walk through in the cave.
